Hahaha, you look like you're pondering life and realizing that you are quite amused by it. Anyway, I was thinking about possible recital pieces, and I kind of like the lyrics to Butterfly a bit more, although maybe we could do 2 pieces... Weary and Well-Doing and then end off with Butterfly. But this is just a thought, as right now I'm unsure of whether I want to do small ensemble at my recital, or just a vocal solo. I suppose we'll see how everything comes together!
Sorry I can't be at rehearsal tomorrow. Convocation is beckoning me... hours upon hours of "Pomp and Circumstance" (hahaha, I just typed "Pimp and Circumstance" by accident. I like it!). Fun stuff!
Let me know when the next small rehearsal is, and maybe we could go through Weary and Well-Doing and Butterfly, just to see how things sound initially.
Stew: where'd the mop to go?? PS what's on telie in the background... looks a little sketchy like some home made video or something?? HOw do NOrtherners truly pay for their Tuition;) As much as you're loving your NWT glory days, you should Upload a recent pic eh?? enjoy the lack of daylight savings time in SASK....... :) :) ;)
Hey, I love "Songbird"... I checked out the Eva Cassidy recording and it's pretty cool indeed! We'll have to see how it sounds with the group. I think "Butterfly" would be very very cool too. Let's have a few up our sleeves! Send me the sheet music for "Butterfly" when you get the chance. You are fabulous!!!!!!! :o)
Not quite sure who anonymous is... That pic is old, but not so old that's actually from the NWT - it's my room at UofA.
Lauren I think small groups will be on hiatus for a little bit until I figure out how best to organize them, plus I have some work to do getting all thepieces into that program and sending them out. People are arduous!
Hey stew, long time no talk to! hope everything's going good in sasky, mom loved her grad gift, i think she's home tomorrow or tonite, so you'll probably get a phone call.
